We both grew up in homes where the kitchen was the heartbeat of the house. Different countries, different recipes — but the same feeling: the table is where life happens.
Then we moved to Amsterdam. New city, new lives — but that familiar craving for a seat at someone's table.
Every time we cooked for someone — or someone cooked for us — something shifted. Walls came down. Conversations got real. A shared meal has a way of turning strangers into people you actually care about.
That's the idea behind The Dinner Club. Not a restaurant. Just real people opening their homes, cooking what they love, and inviting strangers who won't stay strangers for long!

co-founder & loves to eat
I'm Dutch, but spent most of my adult life living in New York City before returning back to Amsterdam. Food has always been the biggest catalyst in forming new friendships in any city I lived in, and I believe no restaurant will ever beat the taste of love in a home-cooked meal

I grew up in Sicily, surrounded by amazing food and even better home cooks. Since, I have found myself starting over in a new city often and have met some of my closest friends through shared meals in unexpected places. I hope that The Dinner Club can offer the same for more people
A home-cooked meal is the fastest way to turn strangers into friends. No agenda, no small talk — just real food, real conversation, and the kind of evening you actually remember.
The Dinner Club is our way of making that happen across Amsterdam. One table, one host, a few open seats. Come hungry, leave with new friends and good stories.
